I am not a non profit yet and just starting out but once I get enough funds will get the paperwork turned in for non profit.
I am trying to help animals in my local area that are right now in need of rescue for I just learned by a fellow citizen that the animals have no where to go and they are in danger of being shot or killed off by local residents cause there is no where they can go and if I had this shelter up and running we could take them in and find their forever homes. Even the Veterinarians are turning them away now... Project two is to help those less fortunate like me have items they need, I am continuely receiving clothes, household items etc from others and even get left over yard sale items and have a lot to go around and decided to send packages including clothing, household items, housewares when possible to those in need, I am collecting donations to help with shipping, and to provide gifts for special occassion such as a special gift for a family that otherwise would not have anything on christmas and some food maybe, or a small birthday gift, toiletries, etc. I will set up a wish list of items that can be sent and of special items that have been requested or suggested as a special gift. I want to also include if someone requests a special gift for a less fortunate person for a christmas or birthday wish such as a cd player etc would like to try to make that wish also come true but now it is not that easy. And knowing how depressing and alone it can make one feel gives me this inspiration to try to do this. I know I may be expecting way too much and probably setting myself for another big let down but guess when you are disabled and can't work you have to do something to try to bring your spirits up and this is what would help me to bring my spirits up.
